Bulgaria has joined the European Union in January 2007 and now we can benefit from the Common European policy, enjoying equal rights with the other EU members. One of the biggest challenges that we face is the structuring of good projects to be financed by the EU funds. In this section, it can be found information about the EU regulations and about the process of financing EU projects. Although that my web page is dedicated to the public-private partnerships, the user should be familiar with the EU funding as well, because very often we mix the PPP concept with the EU money concept which is not correct. It should be outlined that the projects financed through EU and the projects financed through PPPs have different economic logic and the rational behind them varies from project to project.
